Željko Obradović

Želimir Željko Obradović (born March 9, 1960) is a Serbian professional basketball head coach for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Basketball Super League.

He is generally considered one of the best European coaches ever, having won nine EuroLeague titles with five different teams. His list of professional titles won is unmatched by any other current European head coach. In addition to his success at the club level, he has won major trophies as a head coach of the Yugoslavian national basketball team, most notably the EuroBasket 1997 and the 1998 FIBA World Championship. In addition to lot of trophies he has won, he was named one of the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors in 2008.

Revered San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, has been a longtime admirer of Obradović’s coaching style, frequently praising himand admitting to “stealing his plays”.

Igor Kokoškov

Igor Kokoskov born in Banatski Brestovac on December 17th 1971, and is a professional Serbian basketball coach.

He got his first job in the U.S.A., in 1999, at the University of Missouri as a college basketball coach. In 2000 he became the assistant coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, the first foreigner to attain this position in the history of the NBA. In 2003 Kokoskov became a member of the team of Larry Brown in the Detroit Pistons.

From 2008 to 2015 he was the selector of the Georgian National Basketball Team.

In June of 2008 he became the assistant coach of the Phoenix Suns, and remained there until 2013. In the meantime he received his United States citizenship.

In the 2013/14 season he worked as an assistant coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In January 2016 he was chosen as the selector of the Slovenian National Basketball Team. Under the leadership of Kokoskov, Slovenia the historic gold medal in the finals against Serbia at the European Basketball Championship in 2017.

-2000 becomes the first non-American assistant coach on the benches of an NBA team. (Los Angeles Clippers)

-2004 becomes the first non-American assistant coach to win an NBA championship title. (Detroit Pistons)

-2004 becomes the first non-American assistant coach to be a member of a team at an All Star game.

-2018 becomes the first non-American coach to become a head coach of an NBA team. (Phoenix Suns)

Aleksandar Đorđević

Aleksandar Djordjevic- Sasha, born August 26th 1967 in Belgrade. He is the former Yugoslavian and Serbian professional basketball player, now a professional basketball coach. Currently he is the selector for the Serbian National Basketball Team.

Career as a coach

On the 25th of December 2013 Djordjevic became the selector of the senior National Serbian Basketball Team. He achieved great success with the Serbian National Team in Spain in 2014, winning the silver medal, as well as the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, once again winning silver.

In June 2015 Djordjevic became the coach of the Greek club Panatinaikos, signing a two year contract with the them.

On August 1st 2016 Djordjevic was chosen as the coach for Munich’s Bayern.

Aleksandar Kesar

Aleksandar Kesar (born 4 February 1972) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He currently serves as a head coach for the Shandong Golden Stars of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

Coaching career

Kesar was the assistant coach of the Partizan and the Olympiacos. He led the Mega Aqua Monta, AzovmashMariupol, Shandong Gold Lions and Fujian Sturgeons.
